Karlos 18.1.2010 9:35Oteplovači vstali nějak brzo, ale zatím toho moc nepředvedli. Zklamal mě hlavně politický klimatolog doktor Metelka, protože nám ještě neobjasnil, že to všechno jsou jeho modely schopné dokonale předpovědět. Rovněž nám ještě nic nepověděl o slunečním příkonu. Ujišťuji Vás ale, že sluneční příkon vyjádřený tzv. sluneční irradiancí je v posledních 3 letech mimořádně nízký. Tak slabý sluneční příkon jsme zažili naposledy před téměř sto lety v letech 1910-1914. Tehdy ale bylo podstatně chladněji než v současnosti. |

Ludva 18.1.2010 9:17Jen bych dodal, že magnetické pole Země může ovlivňovat klima odklonem kosmického záření, které napomáhá tvorbě oblačnosti a mění tak albedo. Cituji: "Během posledního století významně narostlo magnetické pole Země, které funguje jako přirozený štít proti kosmickému záření. Tím pádem atmosféra Země přichází do kontaktu s menší dávkou kosmického záření a vzniká tím menší množství mraků, a tak zřejmě dochází k oteplování." |

Takhle vypadá novodobá inkvizice ve stavu zrodu. Tohle všechno dopadne špadně, lidi si zase udělají ze života peklo, jen to sluníčko nám k tomu bude svítit pořád stejně jako od nepaměti. |

Dotyčný Svensmarka zřejmě ani nepochopil (každopádně neuvádí, kde to tvrdí), že magnetické pole Země klesá už vám tady vysvětlili jiní. |

Jak byste vysvetlil Figure 4, v publikaci El-Borie and Al-Thoyaib (2006), ze ktereho je patrne, ze zhruba od devadesatych let je korelace mezi aktivitou slunce a teplotou velmi slaba? Clanek mimo jine pouze konstatuje, ze zmeny teploty mohou catecne odrazet i zmeny v aktivite slunce. Autori dale zduraznuji, CO2 je vyznamnym faktorem ovlivnujicim teplotu na Zemi, ale rozhodne neni jediny (coz nikdy nikdo netvrdil). |

"Opening, unraveling and understanding what is happening in a complex FORTRAN computer code, with 20 years of age and change in it, is a difficult and grueling task," he says, "and the deeper I dug the more amazing the details revealed. When doing a benchmark test of the program, I found patterns in the input data from NCDC that looked like dramatic and selective deletions of thermometers from cold locations." Smith says after awhile, it became clear this was not a random strange pattern he was finding, but a well designed and orchestrated manipulation process. "The more I looked, the more I found patterns of deletion that could not be accidental. Thermometers moved from cold mountains to warm beaches; from Siberian Arctic to more southerly locations and from pristine rural locations to jet airport tarmacs. The last remaining Arctic thermometer in Canada is in a place called 'The Garden Spot of the Arctic,' always moving away from the cold and toward the heat. I could not believe it was so blatant and it clearly looked like it was in support of an agenda," Smith says. |

"One small problem: there have been no temperatures recorded in the NCDC data set for Bolivia since 1990. NASA/GISS have to fill in or make up the numbers from up to 1200km away. This is on the beach in Peru or in the Amazon jungle," he said. He and D'Aleo say it is startling where the temperatures are that have been dropped from the calculation. "A very high percentage of those dropped are from the more northern locations. Very few are left north of sixty degrees longitude." "Clearly there is also a bias to leave in locations with warmer temperatures, i.e. from the arid areas and within the urban warmth of cities," he adds. In the greatest reduced list of locations, there are very few colder mountain locations retained. E. fuf 18.1.2010 9:18jak vysvetluje Gavin Schmidt It's nonsense born of ignorance of what these analyses do and prejudice against the results. The basic claim is apparently that a coastal station absolute temperature is being used to estimate the current absolute temperature in the mountains and that the anomaly there is warm because the coast is warmer than the mountain. Well, if anyone was doing that, the temperature anomalies would be a lot larger than a few tenths of a degree! What is actually done is that temperature anomalies are calculated locally from local baselines, and these anomalies can be interpolated over quite large distances. This is perfectly fine and checkable by looking at the pairwise correlations at the monthly stations between different stations (London-Paris or New York-Cleveland or LA-San Francisco). The second thread in their 'accusation' is that the agencies are deleting records - this just underscores their lack of understanding of where the GHCN data set actually comes from. They could just try reading Peterson and Vose (1997) which indicates where the data came from, and which data streams give real time updates. The principle one is the CLIMAT updates from WMO GCOS. These are distributed by the Nat. Met. Services who have decided which stations they choose to produce monthly mean data for (and how it is calculated) and is absolutely nothing to do with NODC or NASA. |

Kdysi totiž (výjimečně správně) v jedné diskusi podotkl, že korelace neznamená kauzalitu. Váš článek je pouze o korelacích, o statistických závislostech, z nichž vyvozujete kdeco. Vy jste si jist, ze magneticke pole Slunce nema s nasim pocasim a klimatem vubec nic, nebo skoro nic, spolecneho ? Ma to zpropadene Slunce vliv vubec na neco ? |
