Vyhlášení Ditmar Awards za knihy vyšlé v uplynulém kalendářním roce 2006 proběhne 2. června 2007 na Convergence 2, tedy 46. národním SF conu. Slavnostní předávání pak tamtéž o týden později (9. června).

Když si tuto cenu člověk pročítá a uvědomí si to menší knižní trh Australanů (jejich výhodou je angličtina), pak to jednomu nedá a zapřemýšlí si nad podobností s našimi cenami Akademie SFFH.
