O víkendu 2.-4. listopadu 2006 jsme se dočkali vyhlášení jednoho z nejprestižnějších hororových ocenění, tedy International Horror Guild Award. Předávání proběhlo v rámci World Fantasy conu (stejně jako v úterý zmíněná WFA) pořádaného v texaském Austinu. Jedno ocenění bylo známo již předem - žijící legendou se stala, u nás ne příliš známá, spisovatelka Chelsea Quinn Yarbro.
