CENY: Bram Stoker Award 2005

Před dvěma měsíci jsme uveřejnili nominace na hororovou obdobu Oscarů, tedy cenu pojmenovanou na počest tvůrce vampýra Draculy - Brama Stokera. 17. června 2006 proběhlo slavnostní vyhlášení na konferenci HWA v Newarku (stát New Jersy, USA). Vítěze máte opět označeny červeně, nenechte se zmást, opravdu se ve dvou kategoriích dělí o vítězství dva nominovaní, holt, rovnost hlasů je rovnost hlasů. Ocenění za celoživotní zásluhy obdržel Peter Straub (u nás ho znáte z několika románů - příkladem uveďme Talisman či Černý dům, na kterých spolupracoval se S. Kingem). Pro některé z vás bude překvapením, že Kelly Link nezískala žádné ocenění, ale přiznejme si, že toho kupodivu nasbírala až přespříliš v jiném žánru.
